This large green space makes up part of the Shanghai Corniche Park. Industrial areas along the Huangpu River were converted into a pitch connected to the rest of the riverside park. The new area not only brings the river closer to the city, but also safeguards its industrial heritage by maintaining some relevant symbols on site.
