Sustainable Tourism World Heritage Sites Held in Mount Sanqinshan – UNESCO World Heritage Forum Series

UNECSO will hold a forum on sustainable tourism from May 20th to May 22th 2015 in Sanqinshan, a national park and World Heritage Site in Jiangxi province (2015 Sanqingshan Forum on Sustainable Tourism at World Heritage site). The forum aims to address how heritage conservation, commercial tourism and long-term local development might be reconciled in World Heritage Sites.

UNESCO typically emphasizes the key role of stakeholders. In this forum, their strategies, methods, and aims similarly strive to regroup international organizations, political leaders, experts and academics to develop and promote optimal forms of tourism management according to the guidelines of sustainable and equitable development.
