City planning from China to Angola

As a result of an order placed to the China International Trust and Investment Corporation three years ago for more than 3 billion euros, the Nova Cidade de Kilamba built 30 kilometers south of Luanda, capital of Angola, has today been delivered, Le Monde reports.

The city, thought to accommodate up to 500,000 inhabitants and alleviate the growing demand in urban housing, remains empty, as Angolans are either too poor or too rich to move to this complex built in yellow concrete and green foliage.
